Kiahuna Beach:
Here's the place to kick back in a lawn chair, available at the Beach Hut (free service). This smooth, sandy beach is ideal-- no shoes required. Low-bank waterfront allows for a nice stroll along the beach or shallow wading in turquoise water.
- Turtles:
Yes-- turtles poke around rocks, just under the ocean's surface, looking for tasty plants. You can see them here in their natural habitat.
- Swim:
The calm waters off Poipu Beach are ideal for swimming.
- Boogie Board:
Boogie boarding is fun here. Need a board? They are available at the Beach Hut.
- Snorkel:
Snorkel in the pristine tropical water of Poipu Beach. No exertion necessary. Simply float along and watch the fish swim by you. Gear is available at the Beach Hut.
- Path to Poipu Beach Park
Take the track along the beach to the park. The park beach has a nice area for young water-lovers. Snorkeling, boogie boarding and swimming are all here too, with the addition of a life guard to watch over you.
