Island of Kauai - Activities

There is a lot to do on Kauai and at Kiahuna Plantation. Of course relaxing is usually a top priority, you may also want to go sight-seeing, scuba diving, hiking, surfing, catamaran, swimming in the pool, snorkling, deep-sea fishing, biking, horse-back riding or enjoy a helicopter tour or scenic drive. You may also want to take a short drive and walk to Kipu Falls, which is not far from the Poipu Beach area. A great place to cool-down or take a few scenic photos.

You can also sail Kauai's amazing Na Pali Coast or take a romantic Poipu sunset cruise in a catamaran. The north shore is also home to the picturesque Limahuli Botanical Garden in Haena near the end of Kuhio Highway. The tennis club is free for guests of Kiahuna Plantation and there are a couple of excellent golf courses (Poipu Bay and Puakea) within a few minutes drive of Kiahuna Plantation.

Spouting Horn - Amazing pressure from the surf goes under the large cavernous rock formations. The force of waves coming through lava tubes makes a deep roar before it sends a blast of water into the air. Take Poipu Road west to the Poipu/Lawai sign and turn left. The parking lot is just a short distance near the end of Lawai Road.

Near Spouting Horn you will likely notice the National Tropical Botanical Garden. There is a nominal fee required for entrance to the garden.
